ASB Positions
President Fulfills the position to represent all students of Mark Keppel High School by organizing all events in the school and ensuring those events run smoothly without error. Vice President Fulfills the position of the president when the current president is absent. the Vice President also controls the business meeting and organizes it to run a fluid matter. Speaker of the House Makes the daily announce in the bulletin, forms house of representative meetings, and ensures all class elections run smoothly with respectable candidates. Secretary of Clubs Oversees all club fundraisers and determines whether these fundraisers are done smoothly and don't conflict with each other. Also organizes all clubs meetings and forms connections with clubs to create Secretary of Finance Oversees all payments made in school, organizes fundraisers for ASB, and ensures all members of Mark Keppel High School can have their financial investments approved or denied. Secretary of Cabinet Types and creates business meetings, and ensures all financial matters are present in the agenda so all members of Mark Keppel High School can get their money back Commissioner of Cultural Affairs Organized socials for the Associated Student Body, ensure dance contracts are completed and creates and organizes spirit week events. Commissioner of Pageantry Arranges pep rallies with the cooperation of all school performers. makes sure that all pep rally posters and honorees are present during the pep rally so that it runs smoothly. Commissioner of Publicity Creates the monthly calendar, oversees all posters and flyers made from ASB, forms groups to make sashes for honorary students in different categories, and designs posters and flyers to promote school spirit. Commissioner of Boy's Athletics Organizes rosters for all school sports, ensures that all sport dates are official, forms groups to design posters to commemorate all sport team players. Commissioner of Girl's Athletics Organizes rosters for all school sports, ensures that all sport dates are official, forms groups to design posters to commemorate all sport team players. Historian Takes photos of events that occur during the school year that involve ASB and updates these photos on Facebook, Instagram, and the official Mark Keppel ASB website. Sergeant of Arms Ensures ASB members are quiet and pay attention during business meetings. Also takes attendance to create order during business meeting. Class Positions President Fulfills the position to represent all class members, creates events and connects class with ASB to ensure things are passed. Vice President Fulfills the position of president, if the current president is absent and provides advice for the president. Secretary Writes down minutes during board and general committee meetings. Treasurer Creates fundraisers and handles funds to allow purchases needed for certain events. Publicity Creates posters to promote class events such as fundraisers. Committee Chair Informs committee members about upcoming events, meetings, and fundraisers. *All of the above listed positions must be enrolled in the 4th period ASB class, except for class secretary, treasurer, publicity, and committee chair. |
